POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for the achievement of the Company’s strategic sales objectives within the assigned territory through well organized planning, effective time management and utilization of Company programs and resources. Regional Sales acts as the our primary contact for end user accounts and sales channels within the territory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensures the achievement of the Company’s sales and strategic objectives within the region by developing and executing plans and by utilizing Company programs and resources.
2. Establishes written goals and objectives with Sales Manager for the on-going management of a regional sales network comprised of Certified Installers, Non-Certified Installer installers, Consultants, Distributors, and strategic allies.
3. Effectively utilizes all company sales tools and systems including SFA, lead generation and follow up, contact and program management and all assigned reporting requirements.
4. Maintains technical and sales proficiency through on-going personal development and training.
5. Manages relationships with our internal resources (Customer Service, Marketing Programs, Training Services, Program Support/Reseller Services, Planning and Production) to ensure timely resolution of needs to meet customer requirements.
6. Utilizes Company sales reporting and analysis to analyze territory sales results and to focus on sales growth improvement opportunities.
7. Ability to understand and work with a sense of urgency while staying focused on long term sales goals and trends.
8. Proven ability to speak with top-level management and decision makers.
9. Highly focused on Global 500 and large Japanese national enterprise accounts.
2. Provides necessary support to inside Customer Service staff.

REPORTS TO: Sales Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Current Japan drivers license
* Prefer bachelor of Marketing or Bachelor of Technology candidate
• A minimum two (2) years of demonstrated success in the achievement of sales objectives in a technology related industry (preferably telecommunications/cabling industry, and/or a related industry for large non-Japanese financial firms)
• Demonstrated ability to develop plans, establish priorities and organize activities to optimize sales growth and market share
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Ability to travel within Japan, mainly TOkyo area
• Excellent Japanese and English Language skills
• Demonstrated sales success
* Prefer solid working knowledge of the telecommunications industry (TIA, BICSI, IEC, etc.) and technologies including distribution channels and practices, major installer companies, fiber and copper products, applications and competitive environment
