job description: Business Manager level: Associate/Vice President
Business Manager for credit trading/sales/marketing/research to cover about 40 people or so. The products cover credit cash bonds/CDS/ASW/credit hybrids(CDO/cash CLO etc)/CLN/MTN. The BM will sit on trading floor. The roles and responsibilities include administrative work such as HR issues/PIPA/BCP and day-to-day operational issues and projects(clients/Middle office issues/MIS reporting issue/System issue/New business Inititives/any new inititives. The role requires strong communications skills and problem solving skills.
Job Specification § business Controller for the Japan Credit Market in Tokyo § Associate / Professional level § Responsible for o reviewing daily P&L production performed by Middle Office o reconcile product risk system with settlement system and GL daily o performing control work around month end ledger closing o providing input to NY for regulatory report submission o MIS production for global product reporting
Experience § 4-5 years (associate) 1-2 (professional) of working experience § 1-2 years (associate) commercial bank experience § Audit experience in investment banking preferred
Qualification § Qualified CPA with USGAAP knowledge § Investment products valuation knowledge (Credit Default Swap, Asset Swap, etc) § SOX experience preferred § Good understanding of basic control environment within an investment bank
Skills § Computer - Excel and Powerpoint § Language - English and Japanese § Good communication skill § Good analytical skill
