POSITION
·Safety Engineer/Electrical Engineer
REQUIREMENTS
·Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) – Electrical Engineering preferred·Fluent in English (Native English speaker)·2 + years experience in the design of semiconductor production equipment, OR safety related aspects of machinery·Excellent verbal and written communication skills·Previous experience with IEC Standards, UL Standards, and NFPA Standards (Preferred)·Willingness to work in different cultures and to learn a new language
WORKING CONDITIONS
·Working Hours 09:00 – 17:30 – 5 day work week·Some overtime may be required based on work load·Travel throughout Japan and some travel to other East Asian countries
DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
·Perform design review of machinery to international standards ·Perform electrical tests and inspections of machinery and components·Generate technical reports in support of design and evaluation services·Conduct laboratory tests
