Native English speaker with daycare or nursery nurse license and at least two years full-time experience required for full-time one-year renewable contract starting April 1, 2007 in International School in Gunma, Japan, about two hours from Tokyo. Salary of 250,000 yen per month for 36.5 contacts hours per week, plus airfare reimbursement up to 80,000 yen and moving allowance of 150,000 yen. Assistance with locating and contracting for housing, or for arranging homestay if desired. Completion bonus on last day of contract of 100,000 yen. Visa sponsorship available for candidates with a Bachelors' Degree, but working holiday visa holders without a BA are welcome. Position involves being in charge of a small class of 2-3 year old students of various nationalities from 9AM to 2:30PM Monday-Friday, and teaching an ESL class for children on Saturdays 9AM to 4PM. Paid school holidays of five weeks/year. Successful candidate must be cheerful, patient, energetic, creative, responsible, mature, punctual, and love children.
