Acquisitions Analyst

Our client is a large investment management firm that is one of the world’s leading real estate service providers.
Job Description:
Position Goals - Support Acquisition Officers to source, underwrite, perform due diligence and close real estate acquisitions to achieve targeted performance criteria
Financial analysis of real estate assets – Underwriting (incl. cashflows, sensitivity analyses, IRR analyses) and valuations
Assist in acquisition process – Obtain, review, track progress of due diligence reports, including environmental, structural, title/survey, etc; review existing and proposed leases; ensure all items on Due Diligence checklist are completed/satisfactory; ensure that documents are tracked and stored according to firm policy; support acquisitions officer in obtaining all required management approvals for transactions; prepare Investment Committee presentations; efficient transfer of acquired properties to asset management
Other Responsibilities – Assist in preparation of closing documentation and filing; other assignments as requested
General Requirements:
Firm understanding of financial concepts, analysis and modeling
Bachelor's degree in finance or related field with 1-2 years of experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
Must be independent worker and well-organized and team player
Language Requirements:
English Level – Good Conversational Skills (Preferred)
Japanese Level – Native
