- Seamless, errorless and effective daily operations in Portfolio
Administration function of the Department for Investment Trust
Management Accounts
- Management of the section’s staff belonging to the Portfolio
Administration function area,
- Cash management of alternative products
- Day-to-day control of the functions of the Portfolio Administration area
as well as resolving various administrative problems
- Deal with internal and external various queries, and resolving various
settlement / fund accounting problems.
- Organize on-time settlements of the Company’s products
- Reconciliation of fund balances/ NAV/ Cash Balance/Holdings
- Check the availability of Profit Distribution of ITM fund.
- Regulatory required reporting of all kinds within the Department.
- Communicate with fund auditor in relation to the regulatory disclosure.
- Maintain the funds and funds settlement /transaction record and
implementing control policies and procedures
- Document operating procedures and workflow processes and ensuring
adherence to them as well as updating them from time to time
- Identify potential efficiencies, whether through automation or
reorganization, resulting in cost savings or improved client service
- Report the day-to-day operations issue to the Deputy General Manager of
the Department
- Check a Business Continuity Plan for the area of responsibility from day
to day operations
- Trade settlement instructions to Trustee and problem resolution of all kind of investment vehicles including foreign exchange and derivatives
- Cash management including Fee payments for all of company’s funds
- Administration of corporate actions, proxy voting etc...
- Control application of subs/ reds of underlying assets held by company’s
funds
- Daily NAV check before a validation of its publication
- Update and maintenance of Management Reporting data if required
- Beneficiary certificate administration as well as JASDEC data

【求人要件 Requirement】
- Experience needed for more than 6 years in ITM fund accounting operation in Japanese Investment Manager. An experience both in Trust bank and Investment manager is desirable.
- English skill for communication in writing and speaking
- Having knowledge and experience in both T-star and Fundweb
- Management experience more than 4 staffs
- Need experiences of both introduction and establishment for any operation procedures from zero.
- Having a deep knowledge in combination of trading, settlement, market holiday, required Yen cash in Japan domiciled ITM fund which is multicurrency baby-mother structure.
- Experienced in variety of corporate actions
- Experience in trading or investments is preferable.
- To be well informed of disclosure related matter.
- Having knowledge in global equity, bond, derivatives, Forex, any certificate, etc. as investment vehicles.
- Having a knowledge in both Investment trust law and Investment trust Association’s regulations.
- Well informed of tax regime for investments regarding foreign products, two countries taxation treaty, Japanese tax for ITM fund
- Experience of the BOJ , US QI , ITM association, ITM data reporting for financial report of ITM company
- Having experiences of inspections by SFA or SEC
- To be well informed of DIA (Pension) area including relevant law and regulations
