Overall role:
Support local IT services including hardware, LAN, desktop applications; ensure the availability and reliability of network performance; work with Hong Kong and London IT in the evaluation and deployment of products and services in line with BAM Global standard and policy; ensure BAM Global standards are in place and maintained in the BAMJ system environment (in terms of procedures, policies, controls and system versions); carry out daily routine work on report generations and backups; provide first line support of BAM and local applications
Required Skills:
Installation, configuration experience of Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office XP (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), general knowledge & experience with Wintel PC hardware (hardware troubleshooting, upgrades)
Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP)
Experience with providing IT Helpdesk or similar role
Ability to work unattended
English Level – minimum Business level in both oral and written
Japanese Level – minimum Business level in both oral and written
