Our clientis a very competitive player in the direct insurance market.
Our client is selling non-life insurance products via different channels (call centre, Internet, e-broker and agent networks, etc.). All the business processes has to be industrialised within a short time frame using mainstream tools and packages in client/server architecture. Join the dynamic and international team, which is in charge of this major project!
Will have three domains of responsibility:
- Administrate configuration management with source control software
- Manage all development, integration test and user test environments (Build, Test, Patch build, Patch test, User Test)
- Deliver software to the Service Delivery department following standard process (i.e. for major releases) or patch process (i.e. for urgent modifications)

Profile:
Bilingual in English (business level) and Japanese (business level)
Academic qualification in computer science, or similar.
3 to 5 years of experience in information systems
2 to 3 years of experience in Oracle
Minimum 1 year experience as Oracle DBA.
Ability to analyse and summarise, write technical reports, help developers and testers in their daily tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and to adapt to various environments.
Ability to work in an international team.
Good communication skills.
Well organised and thorough.
Curious mind.
Achiever/Doer and Problem solver.
Knowledge in at least five of the following fields is required:
- Oracle database
- Advanced PL/SQL & SQL programming
- J2EE system administration/deployment & Java
- .NET/C#
- HP Unix/Linux
- Erwin or similar modelling tool
- Developer/2000 2.1 (client/server)
- Automated build/unit test and deployment
- Continuous integration
- Good understanding of Copy-Modify-Merge Source Control
- System Administration
