Role and Responsibility
1, Design and implement physical database model
2, Install database software, create and configure databases.
3, Setup database backup plan and manage capacity.
4, Manage database security, proceed Remedy tickets
5, Database performance tuning including SQL query tuning
6, Monitor database performance
7, Design and implement DR/BCP plan for database systems.
8, Support development project with database expertise
9, Troubleshooting with database related issues.
10, Database development, develop PL/SQL programs, procedures and
queries.
11, Other database related support/migration tasks including
participating in the support shift.
Qualifications
1, Bachelor of computer science/software engineering or other IT
related majors
2, More than 4 years IT professional experience . 4+ years DBA
experience in development and production environment.
3, Good knowledge and skills about the following RDBMS platforms,
Oracle and SQL server.
5, Fluent conversational English is a must. Fluent Japanese is
a must.
