The main functions of this role are to provide application development, on-goingsystems enhancement, support abd assist in business requirements analysis.
(A senior position is also available depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
* Business application specifications and programming
* Business requirements analysis
* Designing of systems (Web Application, Tools, Database, Interfaces, etc.)
* Investigate and solve operational and systematic problems
* Source code control
* Contingency planning
* Documentation of procedures and systems delivery methodology
Qualifications:
(Experience of some of the following is required)
* 5 or more years experience in application development using Client/ Server or Java technologies
* 3 or more years experience in financial area especially investment management business
* Knowledge of investment management business
* Knowledge and skills of relational database (Oracle, MS-SQL Server)
* Familiarity with SQL, Jave, .NET, XML, HTML
* Familiarity with IBM Websphere and WSAD
* Familiarity with Unix (Sun Solaris) and Windows platform
* Knowledge of source code management tool (VSS, PVSC, etc.)
* Both Japanese and English skills(business level)
